The things I do for Jon Schmidt

I DO NOT go to concerts. That whole mass of people thing--NOT MY THING.

SERIOUS CLAUSTROPHOBIA ISSUES!!!(whole 'nother post)

BUT, and isn't there always a but?

My dearest, sweetest Pood read my blog and watched the Jon Schmidt youtube, called me (from work in Alaska) and told me that I needed to take him to a concert. Yeah, he IS that romantic.

So... tomorrow I am taking him to Pocatello,Idaho to see Jon Schmidt in concert!!! WOO! WOO!!

I am extremely excited and am hoping it will last long enough to mask any anxiety caused by doing the mass of people thing.

Even more exciting is the fact that my newly engaged Natty, and my 3 hours away daughter Tae will be going with us--not many more times in this life that it will just be us and the kids, I am thinking. I intend to make a memory!!

In case anyone else from Montana is planning on taking I-15 to the concert tomorrow--we will be the red Tahoe with the crazy lady at the wheel and Jon Schmidt on the Bose!!

Friday I will be posting my 100th POST giveaway!!!! Please come enter!!

Hey I'm your first visitor...special rewards please.

What? Of course it's legitimate. C'mon...

I'm the second. I should get more rewards than Braja.

Have fun at the concert!

I am completely jealous. Do you want me to drive up so we can be all nutty together? I love Jon and hate crowds.

Braja and her posse ALWAYS receive special rewards on my blog--didn't you know?!

I know that, as a pianist, I should be more charitable about other pianists, particularly that LDS pianist crowd. But most of them, well...

But I really, really like Jon Schmidt. Have a wonderful time!

p.s. Did I miss the end of your "Garage Door on the Ceiling" story?

Sounds like a great memory to make! And you're right, enjoy these times with your kids now because they get harder and harder to come by.

=)

Have a great time! I like the Eagles and have seen them several times in concert in the last few years. They are the band from my past that still makes me feel like a teenager..in a good way! Just think- concerts are like sporting events, but you're all rooting for the same team!!ENJOY!! I could listen to him live and I'd be smiling!!

I had to erase my Jon Schmidt - it was slowing my loading process down. I also got rid of alot of my other pictures and music. It still is loading very slowly. So my page is very plain but easy to read. Now I'm off to work on your contest!!

What a great give-away, you put alot of thought into it (and words (harhar)).
Ok, I answered the previous quest, I follow you, and am answering your thought invoking questions:)
*If "almost anything' fell on the floor at the 'my home' for longer than 20 seconds, I would totally pick it up and still eat it, (especially chocolate:).

*What song, piece of music, etc... best describes your soul? Wow, this is hard, I like different stuff for different moods. Recently I'm reminded of a piece by Handel, that REALLY moves me. Gonna have to look up, and down load that one:)

Thanks for going to so much trouble, and being my friend (before you became so 'cool';)

Okay so I'm dying of anticipation here. It's Wed. the 13th and I'm dying to know who won the give-away! I feel like that old Mervyn's commercial where people are standing outside saying "open, open, open" while they're waiting for the doors to open to a huge sale!!! LOL! Cindy
