Ode to Easter Cadbury Joy

Before Easter has passed me by, I wanted to pay a tribute to the candy I lovingly, passionately, devotedly call-----CADBURY MINI EGGS.

(Insert angel choir here)

NOT to be confused with that nightmare inducing Cadbury egg that looks like a chicken had an accident in it.

No, no, these are the ones with the just right crunchy candy outsides and the unrestrained frenzy inducing, chocolate on the inside, candy of the Immortals.

They come in bags that look like this:

What’s that you say??? You CAN”T find them in stores this year? hhhhmmmmmmm…… that IS perplexing………………………….

I’m sure no one I know would have gone to all the major and not so major chain stores in the area and bought their entire stock of mini eggs and then told her Bishop (church leader) that her year’s storage was complete.

Cuz that would just be scary…

…...and weird…..

…….and completely nutritionally unbalanced………….

just sayin………..

My husband loves these but no one else in our family likes them. We prefer the big gooey ones that you obviously don't care for!! Have a great Easter Lisa!

Can you believe I have never had one? Could be that the gooey gross ones turned me off the Cadbury name for good. Guess I should try these. Assuming that person lives nowhere near me.

Girl, you are speakin my language!
I LOVE cadbury mini eggs. I have been known to buy cases of them, too. I'm glad they finally wised up and are easier to find now. And I was happy to find them at Christmas last year, too.
My fave: put them in a bowl, and microwave for about 45 seconds, until the shells crack. Then just a little bit melted and just melt in your mouth.
YUUUUMMMMMYYYY!!

Thank you Thank you Thank you for your kind comment on my blog. I needed to hear those words. This is a painful time for me. :( But your supportive words helps me a lot. m

You're right, they are SO good and so addicting! I'm sad Easter is over and I don't have an excuse to gorge myself on them anymore now. :)
