Surgery Part 2

What kind of mother takes pictures of their child in the hospital with the sole purpose of making a blog post out of them??!!

Pick me!!! Pick me!!!

When they started prepping Kelly, they let her watch T.V. while they were poking and getting her ready. She chose to watch a golf tournament. The nurse was so amazed that the next time she left to get something and came back--she brought this cute PGA Beanie Baby Bear for a "poke" prize. She named him Par and we decided to use him as the star of our photo shoot. Here is a day at the hospital with Par--Kelly's hospital pal.

This is PAR---

This is Par working the remote--trying to find his favorite channel--

This is Par hanging out on George the IV machine---

This is Par surveying Kelly's scary yellow leg----

This is Par sitting in the baby bed next to Kelly's and both he and Kelly were very happy that they did not have to stay in that bed!!---

This is Par being very afraid of the BEDPAN!!--

This is Par guarding Kelly's food---it was scrambled eggs--her favorite---

So there you have it--Par's busy day--he was so much help Kelly got to home early!! Thanx Par--you're our new favorite---

What a great guard bear. I would never consider stealing those eggs with Par sitting atop them.

Par and Kelly's leg are the same color! Hey, if you can't laugh about stuff, whats the point! FUN! (Par needs his own scrapbook page:)

That is very silly and very cute! Teddy bears hold a special place in my heart. And I don't blame either one of them for being scared of the bedpan.

Just stopping by and thought I'd leave a comment...hope you don't mind.

I thought this post was just darling. Maybe it's because I'm a nurse and like all this hospital stuff.

Glad to hear all went well with your daughter. Hope she's recouping nicely!

Par looks like he's taking good care of Kelly! I haven't had internet for 1-1/2 days so I haven't checked in until now. Glad to see things are going well. Kelly sounds like she's quite the trooper and I'm glad she inspires you. Aren't kids the greatest!! Cindy

I'm so glad everything went well- I was thinking about you guys last week. That picture of her leg is so gross! It looks like a fake halloween prop!

Thanks for all the comments on my blog. In those bowling pics, I thought my neck looked about a foot long and squiggly in that bluish picture, but then I looked again and I guess you can't really see it when it's small..oops, oh well!

Are the leaves turning beautiful there yet?? Take pictures please?!!

I'm glad you guys all caught the spirit of the photos--I wanted Kelly to have her hospital stay documented but not ugly. We liked how they turned out.

Our school is so small that we don't have a girls golf team--but Kelly is working on it.

Linda--thanx for stopping by!! I love new people and comments!! We particualrly like nurses right now!! I hope to hop over to your blog very soon!

Onlyme--your plate is truly overflowing!! Enough already!! You are the strong one!

Laura--oh I'm so glad--I hate it when I miss the joke! We are trying to think of a good way to use her leg for Halloween! THe leaves are almost done changing so I will try and get out tomorrow and get a few shots.
