I put my husband on a plane today. Sad times. So here is a tribute to the man I love and all the hard work he does for his family--in Alaska and here at home. What a guy--he's my hero---
Just read this after I posted it--
Yes--that is a real chainsaw
Yes--that is real wood
and yes--you should not try this at home--especially if your name is Lisa and you are still mastering the walking and chewing gum thing--another post--another day--trust me--

Oh, hope you don't get too lonely!
Nothing better than a hard working lumberjack!!! he just needs a flannel shirt! Mine is off to Toronto next week...I feel your pain!
Hope he isnt gone for long!!
How is Kelly doing?
Sorry he's gone - hopefully not for too long. Aren't we lucky to have such great husbands (even though I'm slightly annoyed with mine right now). LOL.
HOpe he's not gone for long. Is he gone to Alaska for work? OMGosh! IF he is, I hope its safe.
I feel ya' on the don't try this at home thing. I'm such a klutz!! I don't mix with anything sharp or breakable!
That picture of your hubby reminds me of ALASKA!!!!!! Amazing :)
Lisa got her a manly man :-) Goofing aside I hope he's not gone for too long. If you get lonely though let me know we'll find some crazy thing to do like cyber toilet paper somebody's blog. I don't know how to do that yet but we can figure it out :-)
I miss having a fireplace and the smell of fresh cut wood! It is a ton of hard work to get wood ready for the winter and I'm glad you appreciate all he does. I didn't know he worked in Alaska. Hope he doesn't have to go for too long of a stretch at a time. Hope Kelly is mending well.

I just saw your joke about the dead blonde in the closet on another blog and I laughed myself silly. The funniest part was what you put at the end "I kill myself!" You crack me up!
Glad to see that you put him to work. I stalk you too!!! I am glad that Kelly is doing better with each day. What is your email? mine-
mstaiger@northstar.k12.ak.us

The header in here is gorgeous of your family Lisa. I love it so much. Lucky you for getting it.
Your man does seem like a hard working guy. Nothing beats that. Hope he gets home soon. Laughing about the don't try this at home thing. Thanks for taking good care of us. Sweet as ever.
Stalk away my friend. I don't update to often...I liked the name of your blog, how did it come to be named that?
What's he do in Alaska?
I got scared looking at the pics with the chainshaw and I normally love that stuff. It looked way too close to his foot:)
That song from Footloose by Bonnie Tyler is going through my head: "Where have all the good men gone...." The 'I Need a Hero' song.
Hang on to that one girlfriend! You definitely found a 'real man'.
WOW! We had a neighbor that would take the cities huge logs and split them by hand! I'm in awe of men like this! My hubby COULD. And if we had to WOULD. But only if we had too. Kudos to your hubby! I hope the time goes fast for you:)
ok, there is something so sexy about a man with a chainsaw! LOL, seriously. I love to see a man, any man but mainly mr. incredible out there working with his BODY that he has been blessed with. It's such a blessing to see someone to do sweat beading work!!
::i wonder if there is any gas in our chain saw???::
OHHHH HONEY!!!
Hey have you been BOOed? If not grab it from my blog.
TOugh Stuff! I love a man who knows how to handle a chainsaw. So, Alaska...that is just a skip and a jump up from me.
Hope you reunite soon.
WOW!!! Yeah, I have to agree with MG, I love a hard working man!
How long is he gone for???
Is he gone for long? Did you tell us he was leaving?! I'm reading backwards, so maybe I'll answer my own questions.
I'll join you on staying away from limb-eating power tools.
Stopping by to say hi, and I just have to ask......where did the name of your blog come from?!! LOL! I love it. Hope all is well with you and yours. Cindy
Hey, I hope you got my e-mail. Just checking on you, Girl. I'm here if you need anything. You don't have to post this comment if you don't want to. I just want to touch base in case you didn't get my e-mail.
How are you doing Lisa? I hope all is well with your family.

I'm having Lisa Loo withdrawals. sigh. Miss you!
Lisa...Is everything okay? Where are you??
Just stopping in to make sure that all is well up there. Take care friend.
Is Kelly ok? Are you still breathing? I am going to have to enroll in a recovery program if you don't start blogging!
I MISS YOU! But truly hope that you are just busy and that all is well. (((hugs)))
I'm not the only one that's been thinking about you I can see. Everything okay in your neck of the woods?
