I just want to add....

In sharing our story I hope I did not cause anyone to feel like they must be doing something wrong or their prayers weren't answered because that outcome of their trials have not been so positive. For those who are struggling to find the light at the end of their tunnels--hang on--keep putting that one foot in front of the other. I hope that when my next trial hits and the Lord's will is not exactly what I wanted that I will still be able to find the angels and see the miracles as well as I can now.

Walking down the halls in the Pediatric unit there were mothers weeping over tiny babies, grandmas in hall trying to get it together before they went in the child's room, small little beings with such big obstacles. I know they were not doing something wrong just because they were having a tough time---their angels and miracles were just showing themselves in different ways. Does that make any sense? Just please know--my intentions were good.

Lisa, I dont think anyone thought otherwise, than you sharing a great miracle. Even in the scriptures we see, not all are healed. Look in the pool of bethesda.. we see that day there were many that were afflicted, yet that day only one was healed. Happens...

We are rejoicing with you! We are rejoicing with Kelly!

No need to apoligize

You're the sweetest person I've never met. I don't think people took it the wrong way at all.

No need to explain or apologize. Your intentions and meaning could not have possibly been misinterpreted by anyone. You are one of the most thoughtful and considerate person I've met. Always thinking of others and how your words affect them.

I tried and tried to leave you a comment last night but blogger wasn't cooperating. I'm so excited for your family and Kelly and you certainly did experience a miracle!! I don't think anyone took your post wrong either. You shared a very moving and beautiful testimony of God's tender mercies. I'm glad it was her will that this surgery should go so well. She sounds absolutely awesome too! Her determination will get her far in life! Thanks for your comments too on my blog. I don't know where the raccoon thing has come from, only in about the last six months to a year. They get jobs and make new friends and things like this pop up and you wonder, "what the heck?!" For graduation his friends gave him things with raccoons on them so we are overrun! Once again I'm so happy for your family and hope she continues to improve in a timely manner! Cindy

You are a sweetheart of a person Lisa. We are to rejoice in our blessings and comfort those who are in afflictions. I think that I do understand where you are coming from though, but still, we all knew that your heart was in the right place. Take care.

Oh Lisa - I'm just so glad that everything went well and that she is healing. I just found out that the flowers I sent to Kelly weren't delivered for some reason. =( Please know that I was thinking of you both!

Thanks for being so wondeful and a great inspiration to me.

I have to tell you about a funny conversation today. My kids are home from school and I got a phone call while I was at work.
"Mom, can I eat the false teeth?"
I just laughed. Then I heard in the background, "Ask mom if I can eat the buffalo pie?" Again I just laughed. Then I heard in the background "Ask mom if I can eat the roadkill!"

I had to hang up I was laughing so hard. It just sounded so funny. So I sent an email and told my husband about the phone call. He wrote me an email back and said "I get the fudge".

Lisa - I'm not kidding - that was the funniest thing I've heard in so long.

Thanks for making us laugh!! You are the sweetest.

I can't imagine anyone took that wrong. I have also been on the recieving end of a healing miracle for my daughter- at her birth when they thought my 2 pound girl wasn't going to make it. There's no medical explanation for why she not only lived but had no long term problems (12 minutes without oxygen).

As grateful as I was and continue to be for that miracle, I couldn't help but feel a little guilty because I knew others were suffering and may not have that same outcome. I knew I didn't 'deserve' it more than anyone else but also knew that not all of us could have the happy outcome.

I think it's part of being humble and grateful for what's been given. It's 'normal' to feel all of that after the struggle.

It makes me grateful for my own trials and more compassionate to those that truly suffer. Thanks for sharing.

Your blog is so inspirational! I just discovered it from some of my friends' blogs (you're the chocolate lady! Of course I've heard of you!) and I just wanted you to know I will be stopping by your blog often. Your family is beautiful!

My you are sweet! Isn't it comforting to know God's will doesn't work that way? That He blesses HIS way, not ours? And sometimes, what we want is what He gives, and other times, IT is He who holds us when we don't get our way. Thy will be done is easy when its also our will! Love you LISA!!

Just popped over to say hello and thank you for visiting my blog...well I ended up staying for a while...LOL...love your blog...I am putting you in my favorites and I am going to "follow" you. I can't believe the bat story. I don't know if I missed it, but did she have to have shots?! Glad the surgery went well. I know what you mean about complaining and then seeing someone else struggling with something HUGE! I think we all have our struggles and it is good to vent through blogging...it helps release stress. I look forward to getting to know you better!

Pam--thanx for reminding me of that scripture--it's true--I have just been at the other end and so depressed that if someone would have told my story it might have been the straw that broke the camel's back--I'm glad it didn't make you fell that way.

Mary--I'm pretty sure that if I am the sweetest person you have ever met--you need to meet more people!

Marivic--It was good to see your name in my comments--you are always so kind with your words.

Onlyme--I'm so sorry Blogger wasn't working for you! Thanx for your support of our tender mercy. And yes--the whole racoon thing is really making me smile over here--

Red--you so make my day!! I am really gald to be a part of something that makes you laugh! Your family escapades always make me smile so I am glad I could return the favour. I am sorry we didn't connect with the flowers--I hope you were able to get your money back. Kelly was so amazed that you would do that--thank you!

Binders---wow--2lbs and 12 minutes without oxygen--total miracle!! I am sorry you had to go through that but am grateful you understand where I was coming from. Thanx for sharing.

I haven't posted about that yet--so you didn't miss it--but yes--she has been getting the shots--7 of them!! Nothing like sitting in a room with 99 screaming children while you wait to get your shot---aaahhh!!!!

Ok--there is a reason you should proofread your comments--and this last one is a GLARING example.

First, Pam--I didn't mean to insinuate I thought you were depresses

Second--Ashley--not sure what or where bloogeyland is but you and I probably don't want to go there.

THird--I do know how to spell--really
