I don't think you need forgiveness at all. It is all about learning in my opinion. This is an illustration by Mary Engelbreit and she is always doing fun things with words and pictures. She has one entitled--Life is just a chair of bowlies---etc. Anyways--I have always taken this to mean the miracle of Christ's life and death and all that He did for us. It is a magnet I have had for years that I found at Christmas time--so I guess that is part of why I have always thought that. In my life it has seemed particularly pertinent (I KNOW the spelling is way off on those last 2 words--sorry) also as the miracle we just experienced with my Kelly and her surgery. What do you think of that idea?? Does it ring true for you or am I up in the night??
This is a beautiful reminder for me to not waste the blessings in my life including the opportunity to be here. And of course, like you said Christ's life and death--- not to squander that through indifference and/or disobedience.
Well this is timely for me. I just got done snapping at my 8 year old daughter for making a mess on the kitchen table with her art stuff. She is a miracle. She is supposed to have Cerebral Palsy because of the circumstances of her birth but, instead, we got a miracle. A miracle who is capable of making art messes on the kitchen table.
Well said, my kindred spirit. I have so many miracles in my life. The greatest being the knowledge of my Savior. How I don't want to waste the miracle of His atonement. What a great thought to start the season.
Just checking in to see how life is treating you. I'm thinking about cancelling cable today. I definitely have to keep my internet. My husband doesn't want to bz it's basketball season and the Jazz are playing. The problem is, then it will be the superbowl, then baseball, then golf, then football, then back to basketball. SIGH. If only women ruled the cable companies life would be so much nicer and less expensive! Have a happy day Lisa.
Hi, Friend. Just checking to see how you're doing. And also to let you know I will be on blog-cation and will not be able to visit and comment for awhile, in case you have new posts scheduled. I will be back to check on you again when my blog-cation is over. Have a great Thanksgiving holiday!
Just wanted you to know that I lost the cable debate. Internet jumps up considerably if we drop cable so it really isn't that much more than having internet and cable. I still think we can cut back on cable but I definitely lost that argument. Hope you're okay and enjoyed Thanksgiving. Cindy
I just wanted to check in on you- it's been awhile. I hope you and your family are doing okay. I'm feeling just a little worried but hopefully you've just been busy.

I'm glad you posted.
Love this picture! I am a huge Mary Engelbreit fan! My kitchen and dining room is filled with her art.
I agree, we see and witness many miarcles, do we record them? DO we retain that memory? Do we credit God....
Love this. A great reminder.
