This just in

Sooo--checked the news again and was rewarded with an update on my previously posted breaking news story about the stolen tractor and ATM. It seems my previous concerns about a rogue farmer with an ATM in his barn were unfounded. They have found both the tractor and the ATM but those tricky theives got away with a few thousand dollars. Sorry--this story is like watching a train wreck for me. I can't just let it go. Sooo--there was also a surveillance video on the site so I figured out how to add it but not how to make the commercials be quiet--sorry--make sure you pause it after the robbery otherwise those fabulous Montana commercials just keep coming. Obviously the person driving it has driven a tractor before--man they just get in there and get 'er done! If I was driving it would be a lot longer video and alot funnier--the tractor goes across one way--goes back the other--I'm thinking thats probably why they didn't call me to help out. WHO THINKS OF THESE THINGS??!! What is the converstion that goes on that starts this process??!! It's killing me!!

I went with just a link--the video commercials were really obnoxious

I can imagine this happening here in little Cedar City, UT! We have tractors driving all over the place. Maybe not bank-robbers, but ya' never know...

Love your blog name-way cool!!, because I've been there :)In Texas, my dad turned the garage into a family room. The Home Owners Assoc. did not like us in their wealthy neighborhood. We moved backed to Tulsa in a heart-beat :)

Oh Lisa, this rolls me! And thank you for your kind comments on my blog. I love stalking you too. Like I said before, I feel like I have found a kindred spirit! I love your sense of humor and your tenderness about your family. I know that if we were in the same ward that we would be FAST FRIENDS!!

I just read your whole blog-and we have a lot in common. My Alaskan family- has lots of issues with a certain person calling us all day long also...luckily we have caller I.D. But sometimes my kids pickup on a cell phone...and we know what's next-lots of chores at Granny's home. I've told my kids that I pledge to never pester them :)♥

I am sooo glad I am not the only one trapped by this train wreck!! And Dolly--so glad you commented--I went and peeked at your blog--I think we do have a lot in common! I will try and comment on your blog soon.

Hey Dolly! We do have a lot in common! First of all, my hubby was born and raised in Cedar City, UT. He still has a brother and sister that live there so I have been there several times. My little Bean was born in Anchorage, AK also. She was 3 when we got her and had been in several foster homes. My husband I met and married in Fairbanks. Actually we were married in St. George but I digress. I also lived in Fairbanks when I was in 1st and second grade. Small world! I look forward to getting to know you better! As for the phone issues--it actually helps me take a breath when I realize that someone else struggles too--thank you for sharing!

Awesome Lisa-

Tell your daughter that I was born in Anchorage-44 years ago(9-10-64).
I'm a quarter Eskimo, quarter Aleut, quarter Creek Indian and a little Irish and German :) I too was adopted at almost three. My sister, Sherri was 2 and half months. Our story was printed in Family Circle Magazine years ago. I'll send ya' a copy if you'd like! I'm thrilled to have found "my twin" with a native daughter! Thank you for your kind words :)
