My Dad

My Dad--1953
I just was over at da Burgs blog reading about her Dad and thought--before I leave today I should really blog about mine. I forget how many prayers are out there--just for the asking! They put my Dad in the hospital 2 days ago with POD--his lungs keep filling with fluid and now he has pneumonia. His legs are swelling up and the right side of his heart is not functioning properly. They have him on antibiotics and are doing a gazillion tests--so he is in the best place possible--it is just scary. My Mom is--well--my Mom and so I am on my way to the hospital to be with him---I have no idea what the next few days will bring--I just have to be the parent to my parents--it is so weird--and hard--
.........would you add my Dad to your prayers? His name is Bob B--I think Heavenly Father will know who you mean--thanx--more later---

Of course I'll keep him in my prayers. It's hard, I know, to become the parent to your parents. My dad actually lived with us for awhile after my mother died. He had beginning Alzheimer's and diabetes so it was pretty rough on us all. We help take care of Larry's parents. They're still in their house but their health is really starting to fail. I'll add you to my prayers too as I know how physically and emotionally draining this can be. You're a good daughter. Cindy
