I wish...

Woven from carbon fiber sailcloth, the same material used in racing yacht sails, this is the wallet that withstands a gale force wind or the torrents of a dishwasher. The wallet's carbon fiber threads are 5X stronger than steel, yet 80% lighter, and are encased in a flexible resin that's impervious to water....

I wish someone would have told me that I was supposed to be throwing my wallet in with the pots and pans or flying it from the mast of my yacht.
I wish even more that someone would explain to me why my wallet needs to be able withstand "gale force winds".

PS--Obviously I am not the only one to tilt my head in wonder at this wallet in the dishwasher phenomenon--between the time that I put this in my blog folder for a future post and today--they changed the ad to this:

The Indestructible Wallet.

This is the wallet that's 5X stronger than steel, yet 80% lighter. Woven from carbon fiber, the same durable material used in racing yacht sails, the resilient wallet will never stretch, fade, or develop cracks like a leather billfold. The carbon fiber threads are encased in a flexible resin that's impervious to water and the wallet is sewn using triple-step zigzag stitching to provide additional strength at the seams and prevent unraveling. Despite its uncompromised strength, that wallet has a 1/4"-thin, pliable construction that ensures comfortable storage in a pocket. The wallet has a full-size bill pocket and six credit card slots. 4 3/4" L x 3 1/2" W x 1/4" H. (1 1/4 oz.)

And you thought you needed to take a

consumer ed class to learn this kind of

cool stuff...........

This wallet sounds like something I could stick my teeth into. How many meaningless business cards and expired coupons does it hold?

I saw this wallet in a catalogue and cracked up. I cracked up again when I read your post.

Let's face it. This is just plain silly.

=D

Ah, yes, the wallet that withstands gale force winds...
That's obviously for the person who...
well. I don't know.

My husband could REALLY use that wallet. Not because of the dishwasher but due to my tendency to WASH it still in his pants in the washing machine. I've done it multiple times. Maybe they make a cell phone case like that too? I've washed my cell phone a bunch of times as well.

HEY - super cool that you stopped by to visit my blog. I'd love to hear from you more often. I love new readers and learning from everyone's experiences in life.
Funny...alot of people on your blog roll are people I visit as well.
I think my hubs could use that wallet as If I don't be sure to check his pockets when I do the wash, I end up with all kinds ot things floating around.
Cute family you have btw

As with the others, my husband could use this. I've washed his wallet so many times. He never empties the pockets of his jeans, and I guess I'm too lazy or in too much of a hurry to check. I'm gonna have ta git me one a those.

I'm thinking my husband could use this as he tends to forget his wallet is in his pocket when he jumps into the lake.

Also, did you know you can wash mens' caps in the dishwasher? I thought my MIL was nuts when she told me to do that, but it works.

That cracks me up, I wonder how many people have forgotten to take their wallet out of their pants and put them through the dishwasher?!? Bonkers.
