My better half and favorite son have been in Utah this past week, leaving 3 of us girls to aimlessly mill about awaiting their return.
Right.
N.O.T.
Testosterone free, that's what we be.
I have nothing particularly interesting or funny to share.
Still working on the Christmas letter. Don’t judge me.
Speaking of holiday epistle’s…
I finally gave up trying to be in charge and just kept snapping pictures, hoping I might get one good one.
The first time I looked at them on the computer, I couldn’t see a single one that I felt was good enough to send in our Christmas letter.
Then my #3 daughter walked in my room, looked at my computer screen and said,” That was the funnest photo shoot we have ever had. I LOVE these pics. What a great memory!”
Funny how a few words can completely change your perspective.
The second time I looked through the pictures, I could hardly find one I didn’t like.
So, I give you part 2 of “the funnest photo shoot ever”……
This one is the one I will probably send with the letter but……..
….this next one is the one that TRULY shows the personality of each of my children…
Kelly—3rd girl, middle child, THE MIX
Drama queen like Nat and “kiss
my wha?!” of Tae
Taelor--kiss my wha? with a side order
of the most tender of hearts-#1
Natalie—It’s me! It’s me!
Not only do I need to be center stage
but I will be taking up ALL of it
thank you very much--#2
Milan—Too cool, I can tease my sisters
till they scream and cry but
don’t anyone else even think about
it…dude…seriously….#4
Angel Bean—always wanting to be doing
what everyone else is..
Always watching, always
loving..#5
………PERFECT.

they're all great. seriously.
but the last two are golden! =) what a great family you have.
Looks like the perfect photo shoot to me!
Good to "see" you, Lisa Loo.
Good to see your family, too.
;)
I can't wait for the Christmas letter!! I still haven't even taken my photos yet!! How's that for late??!! :o) We have a friend that built an igloo in his yard and I'm thinking that for our last AK "holiday" photo it would be totally appropriate to be in it or next to it!! We'll see. :o)
Oh, and don't think I've totally forgotten about you... I'm still compiling photos for a 2010 calendar... it'll start with the month I get it all together!! HAHA! 2009 will just have to tie you over till then... just flip to January and start giggling over Bret all over again! Who knew he would be a calendar boy at age 4!?? HAHAHAHA! Love you.
love it! You can tell they really love each other..perfect!
Those are so hilariously darling!
I love pictures like that more than stuffy ones anyway. It's cute that your kids had fun and great memories from it.
What a great family! Isn't it fun when they start to get a little age on them? I loved my little ones but there's this kind of 'golden age' where they're grown but not all the way 'up', and it's awesome!
Yay! My compadre'! (did I spell it right?) Anyway, I haven't done Christmas cards yet either! I'm thinking more like Valentine's cards, lol! This photo shoot looks like something that happens when I try to get pictures out! Treasures to be sure bz they'll make you smile every time! It's good to hear from you again!
I love all your pictures! You can definitely see all their fun and unique personalities! The fact that you're STILL working on your Christmas letter, and haven't actually given up yet, is actually quite impressive :)
Great pics. I totally gave up on my Christmas cards. I'm working on this year's. Hopefully during these next 10 months I'll actually get a picture.
I missed you, but with all that entertainment going on, I could see how you could get distracted!! I did a traditional one this year, but sort of decided the same thing - that next year, I'll just turn them loose and take pictures!
I about choked when you're name came up on my reader! Where. have. you. been????
I adore these photos--last post and this one. I get a real feel for your beautiful family watching them interact for photos.
We had a lot of fun with J2's camera over the school holiday break. It's unfortunate I didn't bother to get out of my pajamas on the day we took so many.
Welcome back-- don't stay away so long next time!
Love them all!! They are perfect. Just do a collage, and send that with your letter.
Oh and btw, my Christmas cards are still sitting on my counter, waiting for stamps.
I love them! You have a beautiful family. And I understand about wanting a "nice" family photo, but these really do show the personality of all of them and they had fun doing it. I've had too many photo shoots end up with FINALLY a good picture, but unhappy kids. It's not worth it to me.
Those are all great pics! You have a beautiful family!!
This past year was the first time in 23 years that I didn't send out a Christmas card/letter. I bought them with good intentions, but December was stressful for the first time ever, so I never got around to writing the letter. Hummm guess it really doesn't matter all that much in the grand scheme of things.
(((HUGS)))
I won't judge you about the Christmas letter, at least you are doing one. I didn't even do cards this year. It was an off year, what can I say.
Your pictures are really cute and so are the kids.
Thanks for finally updating! love the photo shoot! I must say it was worth the wait! Your kids look like they are having a blast! Thanks again for posting, always love them!
Lisa Loo, where are you?!
Great shots Lisa...missed you my lovely!!!!
Love the pictures!!!! It's been a long time:) Miss you guys
